Personal page of Roberta Lugano

Roberta Lugano is a PhD student at the Cardiovascular Research Center, created by association of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the Catalan Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences (ICCC) since October 2007. She is working at the department of Proteomics in the research area for the project "Vascular remodelling and arteriosclerosis. Regulating effect of the cross-talk UPA/UPAR system-low density lipoproteins (LDL) on migration and proliferation of human vascular smooth muscle cells.

She is graduated in Biology for “Università degli Studi di Pavia” University, (Italy, 2007). She carried out an internship at Institute of Molecular Genetics - National Research Council of Italy (IGM-CNR, Pavia, Italy, 2006-2007). She obtained a Socrates-Erasmus fellowship as exchange student in Complutense University of Madrid (Madrid, Spain 2005-2006).
