Rodrigo Hernández is a predoctoral fellow at the Catalan Institute for Cardiovascular Sciences (ICCC) since september 2006.
Chemical Engineer by the Instituto Químico de Sarriá (2006) and the Universidad Ramón Llull (2005), he began his studies at the Universidad Iberoamericana (1999) in Mexico City before moving to Barcelona to conclude them. He developed his thesis "Design and fabrication of a new bioreactor for vascular tissue engineering" at the Materials Science Laboratory (Instituto Químico de Sarriá - Universidad Ramón Llull, Barcelona, Spain) and the Center for Biomedical Engineering (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, USA).
