Estefania Segalés is a researcher of the Catalan Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences (ICCC) from February, 2006. She participates of the investigation line "Molecular pathology of atherosclerosis illness" studying the signal transduction in platelet activation. She is responsible of the Cellular Culture Unit (2006), where is remarkable her supervision of the installation and technicians, the cryoconservation of samples and the application of in force regulations and GLP to the installation.
Graduated in biology for the Universitat de Girona (2000), he obtained the DEA. in biomedicine for the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) in 2003. She is waiting for presenting PhD. degree in biology for the same University. She has published 5 articles in scientific journals and some of her results have contributed to congress presentations.
