Maísa García is a researcher at the Cardiovascular Research Center, created by association of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the Catalan Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences (ICCC). She has a degree in Biological Science from the University of Buenos Aires Argentina (1992-1997) and has a PhD in Biology from the university of Würzburg, Germany. She was a PhD student at the Institut für Klinische Biochemie und Pathobiochemie (1999-2003). Since 2003 she is researcher in Proteomics at the ICCC.
